At Camfed, our mission is to provide education and resources to support the Vaughan food bank and wellness in our community. On our social media we have discussions with business owners and community leaders. We talk about their story on how they started their business or career. When and why did they decide to give back to the community. The stories in these videos could be a great inspiration for young and upcoming businesses owners and community leaders of the future. Alfonso and I are new at this (creating videos) but we have been involved in our community over the years. The idea came about one day when we were having a cigar and decided that why don’t we start a fund-raising campaign to feed the less fortunate. Our motto is Cigar lovers supporting the food bank. “No one should go hungry.” Please, we would appreciate your feedback and input on what type of videos you would like to see on our channels. Our focus has been raising funds for the Vaughan food bank. We raise funds through cigar events which we do twice a year in March and November. At our first Cigar fundraiser event this year we raise $20,000 and over 700 pounds of food for the Vaughan food bank. Thank you and enjoy our videos. Camfed.ca
At our cigar lovers fundraising events, we help the Vaughan food bank raise funds and food for the hungry. At our cigar events which take place twice a year November and March. We will have podcast discussions with community leaders, donors and special guest throughout the year.
